BASF Lifts ‘Force Majeure’ For Citral and Derivatives

Fire had shuttered plant for one month.

BASF announces that, effective as of the release of this information the company is lifting its declaration of Force Majeure with respect to citral-based aroma chemicals as well as Vitamin A and Vitamin E products for human and animal nutrition.  The citral plant had to be shut down after a fire on March 12, 2014.
